1.Job Title: Operational Manager (Limestone Factory)

Location: Ajaokuta, Kogi

Job Description

  • The Operational Manager will be responsible for the factory and ensure that the production process is effective and there are no constraints
  • Ensure the staff are working to optimum capacity and meet their KPI requirements
  • Document factory staff performance
  • Ensure that the daily output meets quality and quantity expectations
  • Management of the factory staff
  • Ensure that the finished product is readily available for delivery to the customers
  • Liaise between the quarry manager and logistics management to ensure the availability of raw materials
  • Keep record of raw materials received from the quarry and finished products going out of the factory for delivery
  • Keep records of accounts payable and payroll
  • Managing the organizations HR
  • Ensuring the effectiveness and timely payment of the security personnel
  • Finding the best ways to manage production with regards to power supply and costs
  • Reporting to the GM and CEO and serving as a member of the Management Team along with the CEO, and Directors
  • Working with the management team
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.
  • Improve the operational systems, processes policies in support of organizations mission
  • Support management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared towards operational excellence.
  • Development of individual program budgets
  • Invoicing to funding sources, including calculation of completed units of service.
  • Payroll management, including tabulation of accrued employee benefits.
  • Regular meetings with GM and Directors around fiscal planning.
  • Managing day to day processing of accounts receivable and payable using QuickBooks, producing reports as requested.
  • Reconciling monthly activity, generating year-end reports, and fulfilling tax related requirements.
  • Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
  • Ensuring the implementation of corporate social responsibility as defined by the organization.

2.Job Title: Limestone Quarry Manager

Location: Ajaokuta, Kogi

Job Description

  • Combine your knowledge of extraction and processing systems with excellent interpersonal and management skills to ensure the profitability of quarry sites
  • Closely monitor all areas of the quarry to ensure that extraction and processing work is carried out to the highest standard
  • Provide active leadership and management of safety processes and culture to minimise risk in all operations activities
  • Liaise with staff on site and deal with any technical or staffing challenges that arise
  • Undertake regular site inspections and risk assessments in order to comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Examine the materials produced to ensure that a high quality of product is maintained
  • Assess equipment and production material levels
  • Order new items as required
  • Check that all vehicles on site are maintained to a good standard.
  • Check that the quarry’s production levels are maintained safely to schedule
