Aldelia Group is recruiting on behalf of its clients in various sectors to fill the following vacant positions below:

1.) LV/MV Tendering Engineer
2.) Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager
3.) Head of Human Resources

 

1.Job Title: LV/MV Tendering Engineer

Location: Lagos

Summary

  • Ensures technical and commercial support to sales and opportunity leaders.
  • Manages consolidated opportunity portfolio. Ensures bid invest decision, risk assessment before submitting the offers, commercial & technical impact evaluation
  • during negotiations, close the deal are properly executed.
  • Manages Customer Project/tender team.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the preparation of quotes and the quotation process for all customer
  • segments within the assigned areas. This includes reviewing customer specifications, drawings,value engineering, pricing and customer proposals.
  • Manages the bid submission process from initial contact through contract signing; places emphasis on establishing the trading terms.
  • Analyse customer request and converts them into proposals. Follow up the proposal and contribute to its negotiation and conclusion.
  • Responsible for validating/endorsing the technical solution.
  • Oversees the execution of the overall bidding process regarding large, complex issues.
  • Manages the preparation of bids, proposal content, conformance to Request for Proposal (RFP)
  • requirements, customer liaison and business partner/vendor coordination.
  • Conduct site survey, energy audits and understand the customer needs.
  • Perform the costing in coordination with the supply chain and logistics manager, marketing,
  • finance and other internal key stakeholders.
  • Able to draft electrical offer and interpret electrical drawings.
  • Produce a comprehensive technical and commercial offer.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • HND/B.Sc in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in diagnosis electrical, mechanical and automation equipment and systems (total engineers solution)
  • An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles
  • Experience working with current solar technologies is an added advantage.
  • Ability to perform assigned projects accurately utilizing electrical, mechanical and automation best practices.
  • Ability to interpret and apply both verbal and written customer requirement and specifications / drawings
  • Ability to enforce projects and safety standards with the sub-contractors.
  • Good team working skills, positive attitude.

2.Job Title: Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager

Location: Port Hacourt, Rivers
Job Type: Full Time

About

  • The QA/QC Manager will lead the quality assurance effort to estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • She/he will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved
  • Direct and coordinate Seflam SGL’s quality program, including the implementation of ISO 9001 systems and procedures.
  • Compile quality control reports, create statistical process control metrics, manage nonconformity material discrepancy reports, and recommend continuous improvement activities.
  • Prepare monthly summaries of quality issues for the Technical team for presentation to the senior management team.
  • Ensure appropriate calibration of quality equipment.
  • Design and implement Quality Plans for all parts to be integrated into CAD drawings.
  • Communicate and share Seflam SGL quality philosophy to key personnel in the company.
  • Keep senior management abreast of significant developments identified during quality control activities.
  • Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • ISO Internal Auditor Certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant quality management experience.
  • Relevant experience of running quality training programs; Certified Trainer an asset.
  • Communication, interpersonal, organizing, planning and numerical skills.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body

  • As the Head, Human Resources, you will be required to do the following:
  • Effectively plan, design, develop and evaluate human resource-related initiatives that support organizational strategic goals.
  • Supervise and provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labor relations.
  • Take a leadership role in developing a culture that enables employees to perform in accordance to a firm’s objectives.
  • Direct the development and implementation of organizational development programs, employee orientation and training programs, benefits plans, policies and guidelines, database management procedures, equal opportunity employment programs, and employee records and documentation policies.
  • Evaluate effectiveness through compiling and analyzing data, prepare and distribute various reports on HR metrics to ensure needs are met.
  • Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization’s policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • Master’s Degree or MBA is required
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Human Resources, 4 of which are in managerial and strategic positions
  • A certification in HR is required
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
  • Experience in educating and coaching staff
  • Above average in the use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to think and act strategically and proactively
